Thrifting happiness

Today’s loot consists of…a Majgull Axelsson book…a wonderful writer, if you ask me. Top left corner shows two antique books with lovely illustrations. Blasphemous me intends to cut them up and work them into illustrations and paintings. Top right corner is filled with delicious Savon de Marseille and a piece of patchouli soap…the latter being absolutely heavenly. And the savon the marseille? Not for my skin…it is solely intended to wash my brushes with…and thus lenghtening their life span beyond belief. And finally…a Christmas carol…I didn’t buy it for the story itself, but for the beautiful paintings that are in the book…from the National Gallery London. Some have the most wonderful colour compositions that immediatly set a creative spark in my mind…so bought it!

So far my thrifting happiness…next week there’s another real flee market…no dealers, just kids on plaids. Can’t wait to see if I can discover some treasures there…
