The summer break proves really challenging for my own creative energy. With the kids around 24/7, it’s much about keeping them happy. (Especially since they have been asking me when they could go back to school since day one of the summer break.) And also, I’ve noticed that my brain is REALLY taking a few weeks off! I mean, where I normally spend a few seconds to conjur up a plan for dinner, it can now take hours for me to decide what to cook. And such slugginess seems killing for inspiration.

But you know what? I think that there are just these times where you have to let go. Just accept that whatever brilliant idea you have, will wait for you and come out when the time’s right. And when the time’s not right…well, then just lean back a bit and simply exist for a moment. Which is not all too bad if you give in to it…

But… I have found these scarce moments…short spans of time to create something. For the sake of creating. The creation of this one I’ve even filmed. Being so sluggish, I won’t promise any “soons”. But I will edit the vid and put it online once I’m back in the flow of my work again…until then, the result of my scarce moment of summer creating:
