Our new house is wonderful. We’ve been living in it for three weeks now and it’s home. Yes. I can safely call it “home”.

One of the things that makes this house as wonderful as it is, is the lovely garden. It’s green, mature and lush! In it is a pond. It hasn’t been kept very well, but it’s lush with life…we have at least 16 fish…black ones and 4 gold fish. And to our joy, we’ve spotted two nutes. Who are unphotographable, by the way. They are incredibly shy from people and fast too! But this afternoon, we met the other inhabitants of our home…two we hadn’t seen before. The sun must have brought them out…

Don’t they make a cute couple? I hope they’ll make babies. Or is it too late for that in the season? And I hope we’ll have loads of nute babies too…

Oh, and if I can, I’ll try to capture our WHITE blackbird for you!!! Yes, I’m not kidding, we have a white blackbird in the garden!!! And it’s a pretty daft one too…but, white or not, he’s managed to hook up with a female and they’re building a nest…I can’t wait to see what comes out of those eggs!

As the children say: “They will probably look as if a gull has shit on them!”
